Lord Adonis gave a speech on UK infrastructure on 14 November at the Guildhall.
In it he referred to the Crossrail 2 route as follows:
“the proposed new north-south rail line in London including a new tunnel
linking Wimbledon-Tooting- Clapham Junction-Victoria-Tottenham Court Road-
Euston-Kings Cross/St Pancras-Islington-Hackney-Seven Sisters.”
The interesting omission from this full list of stations is King’s Road.
We hope that an announcement around the Budget this week will confirm this.
